League Mission and Goals
Ida Hokiliiga develops amateur hockey as an open and accessible sports environment for players of all ages and skill levels. We aim to create a sustainable hockey ecosystem that unites teams, fans, and partners.
Key areas of league development:
- running a regular season and expanding the number of teams
- developing media presence and live match broadcasts
- building a strong hockey community in Estonia
- entering interregional and international levels in the future
How It All Started
Kohtla-Järve Sports Center became the venue of the first meetings, where the principles of the future league were established: openness, joint team decisions, and a regular season. This is where the Ida Hokiliiga community began to take shape.

League Structure
The structure of Ida Hokiliiga is built on the principles of transparency and shared governance. Operational activities are handled by the league organizer, digital infrastructure is developed by the IT/media specialist, and strategic decisions are made together with the team representatives committee.

Legal Support
Legal and operational support for Ida Hokiliiga is provided with the participation of partner organizations:
- Narva Bears Hoki klubi (80651013) — organization and execution of sports events
- DigitalHelp OÜ (17366277) — IT support and development of the league’s digital services
League Committee
The committee consists of four team representatives and participates in discussions about the season format, regulations, and key league development decisions.

Season Teams
In the 2025/2026 season, Ida Hokiliiga includes teams from different cities across Estonia. The league is open to new participants and continues to expand.
